Is my tongue piercing infected? [picture included]

hi i just got my tounge pericerd and there is little bump infron t of the ring idk what to do is that a bad sine?

I have the same problem ast the initial guy, with the funny little piece of skin that is bumped uop in front of the piercing and this is day 4 since I had it done. I work at the hospital and I asked a fellow doctor, first the girl that pierced my tongue said that it was the start of a fungul infection, the doc said that it was just extra tissue and was not infected espcially with fungul, he gave me a thick oral sauve (with prescription) to apply 2 times a day and this will help to decrease the swelling quicker. I have used this sauve for half of a day and can see a difference with the swelling already.

Use a plastic bar bell... i had same problem your having a reaction to the metal.. since i put the plastic bar in the bump when down some but its still there... 4 years later!

yes it is i had that when i first got my done and it fell off so im pretty sure that u will be find just wash your mouth out with mouth wash after you eat and somke

It's fine I promise it'll fall off you'll also have a hard bump like a marble around the piercing for a couple months

It's just a keliod it's normal when you get a percing but your not suppose to smoke or drink acohol

under my tongue ring kinda hurts its been for days since i got it the top of my tongue don't really hurt as bad but under it really hurts .... is there something wrong or is that normal ??

I had the same thing and it went away after about a week or two. I haven't had any issues with it so you should be fine.
