I can relate! I just recently came off celebrex myself - I call it a wonder drug. I would have never been able to run without it. I've been taking glucosamine for about a year now, and it seems to really help. If you haven't tried it, I'd recommend it. It takes about 6 weeks to get full strength, but it does work.
(Keep running!)

I wish you luck. Enjoy running. Please talk to a Sports Doctor. They might have some excellent advice that will keep you running longer.

As an asthmatic I take 3 different inhaler drugs every day and will have to continue that for the rest of my life. Of course I would have to do this even if I wasn't running, but it sure does help the running. So, yes, I would.
Of course, I would follow the other's advice here and chat with a doctor. Specifically a doctor who treats athletic people. Don't want to have to hear the 'just stop running' mantra.
