Hello! I usually have problems with cold sores at least three times a year. My sister told me to try Viraderm. She says it is all natural product with documented activity against herpes virus and that is has successful history of use among many patients. Since I work with children I don't feel good while having cold sores and I would like to prevent outbreaks or minimize the duration. But, my neighbor told me that Viraderm is not natural product and that it even has some toxic effects. Is Viraderm all natural product?

Hi! Well, Viraderm is a nonprescription preparation used for the treatment of herpes-induced cold sores. Its ingredients are stannous fluoride and glycerin and they are tested and recognized as safe and effective by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. I know many people who use it and say it is really good but only when used at first signs of cold sores. Some say it is all natural but some say the opposite. I have even read some articles in which was stated that its ingredient stannous fluoride is toxic even in small amounts. I don't know if this is true. Actually, I find such articles on other medicines as well and I am asking myself is there anything all natural and safe 100% at all?
