My husband and I have lived in our home about three years. We have a well and have had no problems. For the last two days we have been itching very bad. I have no rash but, the itching is so bad that I have scrached my skin off of the top of my hand. My husband took a shower and had welts all over his body. Today he went out to water flowers and came in with his hand itching and welts. I don't have the welts but can not stop scratching. Can this be from our well water? Do not know what to do.

Interesting. I would inspect your bed for bed bugs or something because it is odd you both are breaking out at the same time with symptoms that are similar. That makes me think it isn't an allergy. Since you have been drinking the water for 3 years its hard to blame the water. You might test it for contamination with like a ph test to see if it has high ph levels or something (you can buy little strips and you just dip it in like a little kids science fair experiment). I don't know if ph levels create skin irritation but it might. Also if you haven't taken any antihistamines yet you might try that. Also if you are using a new detergent, or have a new animal or something it could be an allergic reaction you both share. Good luck.
