ive been sober 43 days is that long enough?

I have not smoked any weed in 40 days I am 125 pounds and 5 feet 5 inches tall I have a pretty fast metabolism and I have to drop a drug test for cps to get my child back friday which means ill be 43 days clean by the time I drop the test do you think I will be clean? I use to smoke alot everyday and then stopped and havent touched it in 40 days and I have been drinking water almost everyday I hope I will be clean but my pee still seems kinda dark like there might be some thc in my system and I dont have money for a home drug test to figure it out but i have til friday to find out and if im dirty ill prolly lose my son for good.

Congratulations on not smoking for 40 days and counting...

The thing with THC is that it is stored in body fat. It depends upon how long and how much you've smoked as to how long it will be detectable. A follicle, hair, test would detect it, no doubt. A urine test, maybe.

Some smokers have had it detected at more than 45 days and heavy smokers more than 90. Again, it depends on how long and how much you yourself smoked.

It sounds like your metabolism is really fast. I am kinda in ballpark your type of metabolism and it takes me roughly 10 days even after smoking heavy for years to get it out of me because i have absolutely no fat on me. You said you been clean 43 days and been making a good effort in drinking a decent amount of water and such. I would think it would def be out of your system by now. If its a piss test I would think you would be ok. Im not guarantee'in it though as I am not in your shoes and in your case of trying to get your child back I don't want to say 100% to you. If its a hair test or something, weed will stay on ur follicles for monthsss.

As mentioned above, the compounds that show a positive on the test are stored in body fat.

What you want to do is, make sure you eat well (very well!) during the days leading up to the test. If you skip meals or are dieting shortly before the test, your body will be breaking down fat to use as energy. As fat is broken down, the compounds that may tip you over the limit of the test will be released into your blood and also wind up in your urine.

If your body is adding fat, and/or not breaking down any fat, your blood and urine levels of drug metabolites will be much lower.

Drink plenty of fluids the morning of the test, but don't over-do it. AVOID anything that might dehydrate you. Alcohol (the night before) or caffeine (coffee/tea) the day of the test. If it's a blood test, you want maximum hydration when the blood is drawn. Salty foods (ham sandwich, chips, burger & fry's etc) will help you retain water and dilute your blood plasma.

If it's a urine test, salty food will also increase the specific gravity of your urine. If you force fluids too hard your specific gravity will be too low and the test will kick out a fraud alert. This is not the same as a positive, but it may prompt them to do a more sensitive blood test that is more likely to find trace amounts.

Eat red meat the night before the test and this will increase the creatinine levels in your urine. Low creatinine is another thing they look at to show if you've been forcing fluids.

Vitamin B-Complex will make your urine yellow even if the concentration is weak and at least the urine will look normal to the tester. When they see real clear urine, they get suspicious.

it is a urine test that i have to take for cps its not a blood or hair folicule test i use to smoke kinda heavy i know that is was everyday for a long time but have just stopped cold turkey on the 3rd of may that is when i started my sobriety and i have been drinking water and not smoking since then

You said you were a heavy smoker & stopped cold turkey- would you be up for sharing your experiences? What were your withdrawel's like? Did you stop purely because you had to (to get your little 'un back) or because you also wanted to?

Would be interested in reading your experiences.

I am in my late 40's and kinda chubby but not fat, I have been a heavy every day smoker for almost 10 years, smoking one fat rolled switcher for myself throughout the day but the kind I used to smoke was not the best quality, today is my 45th day cannabis free and guess what, !!!! I purchased a home THC test and to my disappointment and disbelieving I tested positive, fortunately I am not in a rush to get tested but I am looking for a good job and I want to be ready if something comes my way, along the way I learned that it could take as long as 60 days or longer to test negative

I haven't smoked in 35 days and am still dirty. My probation officer thinks I'm still smoking Is there any thing I can buy to completely get it out of my system.
