March 8 2012 Just had. My 3rd hip revision 6 weeks ago due to the depuy hip recall of 2010. Went to my hip doctor at 9:00am. Got an X-ray , while on the table my incision started to pinch on the lower end. Got back to the room and the doctor came in as we were talking about the extreme pain from yesterday's episode. The pinching started up again and was extremely intense. There was a knot forming as it  was hurting, about 1" under the scare line. As this kept happening throughout the whole visit , about 15-20 mins. We both could see and feel the knot forming,it was a burning sensation as it started to erupt. Before the pain would kick in it would burn.  The knot was hard and seemed like it was working its way up thru the muscle and skin. Got the script and went home. It's now 3:53 pm and thru out the day the knot has been more pronounced and visible, and hard. It's a constant burning sensation accompanied with pain all afternoon .  What can this be?
