Took a nasty fall on my left thigh. Bruise was huge and i also developed a large bulge that has fluid in it. It has been 3 weeks now and it is still there and it is tender.

The bulge may indicate a hematoma. Blood would have leaked into the surrounding tissues.
It may need to be drained. See your doctor, it's time for an appointment.

Saw the doctor. Does not want to drain because of the risk of infection. It is blood that has accumulated. Glad to know nothing serious wrong so I can relax.
