Hi, for the past half year my left ear has been making this "rumbling" sound whenever I bend down to pick something up for example. Also I have been getting headaches on the left side of my head at times like the morning, out of bed, etc... My left lymph node is sometimes swollen and painful, and so is my left ear canal at times. I suspect it may be either myoclonus or tensor tempani or something else even? Thanks for the help

Hi: I have to say that it is AMAZING just how many people right now have the exact same symptoms! Many people on here have had the same symptoms and all have been checked out by a doctor and they say it's fine!! So I'm not too sure what's going on. Obviously you are prone to some sort of infection on that side, and you could DEFINITELY have on going issues with perhaps water behind your ear. Tinitus, dizziness, enlarged lymph nodes etc. Have you been put on antibiotics for this? If not I think you need a good dose of it. There IS something going on. I personally now about 12 people that have it and can't seem to get rid of it! So don't feel alone with it. And please let me know what the doctor says! good luck and health!!

I already went to the doctor, doctors actually. They said I didn't have any water in my ear, nor did I have any hearing problems. Do you recommend that I do a MRI for the ear canal? Thanks

It's a hard call, because of the amount of doctors that HAVE told others the same thing. BUT it can't all be a coincedence! So IF the doctor sends you for an MRI then GREAT!!!! And If it shows something that will prove that there IS something going on!

Hi there, after bambi's advice, were you able to follow up on it and figure out what the issue was with a medical professional or are you still waiting to find out? Let me know how you'er doing, okay?

An august audiologist has told me that it might be an infection in the mastoid area. Plausible? Thanks
