Hi. This has been going on for as long as I can remember. I'm 21 years old. I have included pictures I took just two days ago. What happens is that my ear (it's always just ONE ear, and what seems like it's always my LEFT ear...) turn really red, unusually warm to the touch, I can feel my pulse, like my ear is throbbing kinda, and it swells a bit. This happens all the time! Does this happen to anyone else? Should I be worried?
Here is my RIGHT ear...
And here is the LEFT ear, the one that this happens to the majority of the time...

It is an auto immune rare condition - that can affect ear, throat and nose cartilige - can be very serious. Cannot find any web sites that knows the cause of this auto immune disease. It is rare, therefore not much studies or findings. Mine turned into an abcess with merca. Had to have surgery. I have relapsed again now mostly attacking my throat cartlige. Headed for the rheumatoligist tomorrow.
