Hi, my grandmother had a left side stroke with expressive aphasia as the result. We can not understand her anymore as she speaks unclearly, how can we improve her speaking?

Hi, I know that aphasia, means to have a relative who suddenly started speaking some other language. I suppose that in time you learn by signs and gestures to guess what they need, but still there is a risk you are wrong. They have difficulties in comprehension of words, expression of words, or both. The main problem is that everybody becomes frustrated, the patient and people around him. Even if you try to write them your thoughts, they will not understand it, as they are mentally impaired. In some patients aphasia improves in time, and they get some of their former ability back.
