Hello everybody,
I’ve been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome for quite a few years now and I more or less lost all hope of finding something that would permanently solve this problem. Instead, I fell like a test mice for every new medication that promises to help with the symptoms. The latest one my GI doc wanted me to try is Linzess - luckily I took it over a weekend because I had most horrible cramping and abdominal pain followed by several bouts of diarrhea. If anyone else has any experience with this medication, please share if you had any better results.

Have you tried going to naturopath or a chiropractor who specializes in applied kinesiology? I had IBS for years and it wasn't until I cut out my food sensitivities (the main ones were all corn products and cows milk products) and started taking Young Living peppermint oil in my water that I had a huge difference. It no longer controls my life. My naturopath did EDS testing to tell me my food sensitivities. My big trigger was driving in the morning, I couldn't go anywhere before 11am or I would have to stop 3 times to use the bathroom before I reached my destination. Have you tried taking a good probiotic?
