Thank you for writing this, as I'm freaking out searching online about this rare and annoying injury it all seems dooming for my future, but I plan to keep positive and still train if not more minus my bunk foot, than I did before, I'm normally fairly active but snapped something when running in the rain in cheap flats, ...girl problems. This would have never happened if i had high heels on in the first place lol, but its amazing re-enforcement to hear positive feedback about the healing process.

Thanks for sharing what seems to be more positive information. I am headed for surgery next week after my injury being misdiagnosed on August 1. Feeling very discouraged about all the time that went by and now what is in store for me. Helped to ready your story. Trying to stay positive.

Hi everyone I just wanted to share my recovery story as well... The internet is definitely lacking in positive recovery stories. This made me decide to keep my own blog, which will hopefully be a positive story! I hurt myself while rock climbing, had surgery a little more than a month ago, and the doctor says I will be able to start PWB in a week or so. He even said I could start climbing in as little as 4 months post-op!
