Hello.
Well I just lost my virginity a few days ago, and ever sense then I have had to urinate quite frequently and i am having mild cramps (i just got done with my period a few days before intercourse). We used a spermicidal condom and he was only in me for a minute or two before i told him to stop (it didnt hurt but i just didnt want it, scared of pregnancy :$ ). He didnt ejaculate..just precum probably and the condum didnt break or fall off. So my questions are...
1)What could be causing this frequent urination/cramping? ?
2)Is there a chance of pregnancy? ? (I did reaserch but i tend to worry more then a should and thats why i asked and stopped the intercourse quite quickly) !

please help :'(

Hi MsStitch, 100 to 1 you have a urinary tract or bladder infection? VERY rarely you can get it from sex, but some women have mentioned that. You were VERY smart in your use of a condom, pretty sure you are NOT pregnant, so you can relax from that. A REALLY good natural treatment is actually cranberry juice - not the cocktail (becaue it has too much sugar in it). If the cramping continues just go to the doctors to have your urnine tested, and watch for blood in your urine too! Relax honey! And good for you for planning ahead! I haven't been able to say that recently on here! 8-| ;-) Just keep an eye on your urine, drink cranberry juice and go to the doctor if it lasts a few more days! Good luck and health

Hi Hon I don't know why j-save asked you, but age has nothing to do with it. Babies right up to 100 year olds can get uti or bladder infections. Good luck

i agree that this does sound like a potential UTI. although it could also be down to stress/psycho-somatic effects as you do seem to be quite a worrier. i would reccomend against spermicidal condoms as they have been proven to be no more effective than regular condoms but can potentially increase the chances of STI's due to the fact they commonly cause irritation in both men and women. in fact this may be a reaction to the spermicide.
