I have had heartbeat in ears for several years . It is more annoying at times and this time it is louder then ever. I do have high blood pressure which is in now in my higher range. I am concerned that it is different as I have headaches and pains in back of neck near my skull. How can I distinguish whether it is just annoying or is a medical necessity to have checked by doctor. If it is necessary ,what discipline should I consult with.
