I'm really glad I found this site, hopefully someone has had a similar experience to me and can give me some feedback, I have not read anything similar to what I experience so I'll explain it exactly... For the last 4 to 5 years, I get extreme pain in my lower abdomen... It happens roughly every 6 months or so and the pain usually lasts for about 24 hours. It's really hard to describe the pain, but the best way I can describe it is like imagining you are busting to go to the toilet with diarrhoea but in reality, nothing comes out....only a little bit of Lucas and urinating burns slightly aswell during this 24 hour ordeal. I have also done a colonoscopy which turned out normal. I'd like to point out that the first time I got this extraordinary pain was about 6 months after I did a hernia operation and I had a mesh placed there too. I read a lot about pain coming from adhesions and the mesh itself but if the cause was this, wouldn't I be in pain more often?? I am lost and really would like to hear from someone with a similar experience. Thanks to all and hope you find your root cause to your pain. By the way, I also read another article about a bad appendix even though it doesn't show bad on the tests.....
