I'm a 24 years old man and have had this lump in the top left of my scrotum ball (lump attached to a cord) for more than 10 years with no pain on it, but sometimes not often it itches.

Does it seems like cancer or what, please help me and i have a 2 years old boy child. What is it, does it need to be removed or is it safe to live with it?

Hi:
It sounds like a cyst. Cysts can be harmless and it sounds like yours has been, with no trouble after 10 years. However, cysts can change. It's really important to keep an eye on it and it sounds like you are. I don't think you should panic, just keep an eye on it and report any changes to your doctor. The worrying is not good for you, so get your questions answered when they come up. It sounds like you are doing ok. Best wishes. Please keep me updated.

I am a 23 year old male, and I have a similar problem. There is some kind of mass attached to a cord like thing on my right testes. I get confused with what is top or what is bottom, but I think it is on the bottom, the opposite of the epididymis. Not sure how long it's been there, I think a somewhat substantial amount of time. Just from browsing online it seems like the cancer lumps are on the testes, this feels more like a free floating mass, but attached to the bottom of the testes. Any thoughts, should I be concerned?
