Maybe two months ago I have found some lump in my testicle. Unless I press it, it wasn’t makes me feel uncomfortable. I wonder if that could be lump on epididymis, or maybe testicular cancer. I was thinking to visit urologist but first I want to hear your opinion. Can you tell me something more about lumps on epididymis?

In men between 15 and 35 age testicular cancer is the most common cancer type. Anyway, it doesn’t have to be necessary cancer if you felt lump on epididymis. Diagnose is highly curable it is diagnosed in early stage, whatever that is. Man can greatly increase their chances of early diagnosis, performing a simple procedure called testicular self-examination. This procedure is very good, because as sooner as you find lump on your epididymis its prognosis may be better. Usually lumps on epididymis are painless. Naturally, epididymis is cord-like structure on the top and back of the testicle. It could be only epididymis what you found and not some lump on it. To be sure, I would recommend you to visit your doctor as soon as possible. He will make exam and prescribe you the right treatment if that is necessary.
