So.... this is embarrassing but all things vaginal are embarrassing to me so let's just dive in, so to speak. For the last couple years I have been getting small lumps beneath the skin on my labia majora. I thought they were just sebaceous cysts or pimples or maybe infected hairs as my skin is very sensitive to razors. Initially, I would leave them for months expecting them to go away. I knew I did not have an STD because I had not been sexually active since my most recent pap smear. When left, one did come to a head and when I squeezed it, a tiny amount of puss came out but under neath that was a clear, hard sac. So weird, I know. I've tried finding others with similar symptoms but everyone else says theirs are full of blood and puss, and mine are only these clear, hard sacs. Once the sac is removed, the area heals within a day or two. They are not painful. I didn't worry about them until lately, when the sacs are becoming more... well they look like a bunch of little bubbles stuck together, but they are still hard and clear. The closest image I can compare them to is a (for those of you who have studied the anatomy of pregnancy) morula. I know the human body is strange and complex and that stress or hormones can cause little bumps or what have you, but a wide range of cancers run in my family on both sides, and now I'm starting to worry. Any advice is appreciated... I hope someone else has some information or knows what these lumps are.
