There won't be any affects on the uterus but you need to know that infections are easier past if you have sex during your period. Regarding pregnancy....you need to know when you are going to ovulate. If it is a few days after your period then cumming inside wouldn't be such a good idea because you probably already know that sperm could live up to 5 days and if your ovulation occurs shortly after your period, you could get pregnant.
