marks and scars in the groin area. how to remove them?

I have ugly marks and scars in my groin region which i want to remove. I am 18 years old and a year and a half ago,my groin area would itch very much. The more i itched it the more itchier it got and finally it was so intense that i scratched my self and many sores popped up the entire area which even burst and wounded my groin region when i scratched. The itchiness furthermore increased and irritated me so much that i showed a doctor and he suggested me medication which worked and now i have no itchiness and sores. But however the sores and wounds have left very ugly scars and marks in my groin area and it looks very creepy. this has been hindering me from having sex with my girlfriend for 6 months. I don't have the courage to show her my hot rod to her due to these marks and scars. please help me to get them removed.
