Ok so me and my girlfriend were messing around. She was on a sort of artificial period because she stopped taking birth control for that day and the day before it. We decided we wanted to try having sex for both our first times. I tore her a little bit but not completely. She took a pregnancy test 6 days after it turned up negative. So I guess what I'm asking is 1 was the test right? 2 is there a possibility she could bebpregnant because she was bleeding from birth control and her vagina is not fully popped. Please help!!??

Hi Broncos,

Yes, there is a chance of pregnancy.

Pregnancy tests are not reliable until her period is due.  It would be HIGHLY unlikely that a pregnancy test taken 6 days after having sex would read accurately.  It is virtually guaranteed to read negative.

The tests look for a specific hormone made by the fetus.  It takes time for that level to rise high enough to be detected.

If she only missed two days of pills the odds aren't that high but there is always a chance.

Any time you have sex you have the chance of getting pregnant, and tell her to take another test if you think she is pregnant
