My main symptoms are: anxiety, depression (but occasionally), nervousness, irritability, hot flash, insomnia, etc. Beside this I mention pain caused by intercourse and ugly skin. I am a different person. I sometimes think that I could bite somebody. What is happening to me? Is this because of menopause or my anxiety provoking all this?

Hi, welcome to menopause. You have symptoms like they are described in a book. And by the way, anxiety is condition or symptom, in some cases, not a disease. Therefore anxiety can not provoke other symptoms. If you have too much trouble with this, maybe a visit to your gynecologist won't be a bad idea. He or she can help you with your problem.

I was told about 2 years ago I was having anxiety attacks, but after reading about menopause I believe that could be my problem. I had a complete hysterectomy about 14 years ago, never even considered menopause after that....will be seeing my gynecologist soon.
Thanks
