at 5wks 1day i started spotting enuff u could tell when i wiped only, i did this for 4 days soon as i started spotting doc put me on bed rest but on the 6th of sept i flooded and passed clots as big as my hand, i never saw any tissue and I know when i started spotting my HCg was over 1600 now it issept 17 and my HCg is at a lil over 450 shouldnt theuy have gone sown more by now if it was a full miscarry?? is there hope?? Twins do run in my family and my cuz lost one and kept the other and I have a friend who did the same. could there be hope for me and my baby??

What happened with you? My levels were 100 6 days ago and two days ago they were down to 20. Also on Mon I had very light cramping and very light spotting...nothing after that...dr said the worst is over??/How can that be?? What happened with you? Did you go on to bleed more heavily?

I had an ectopic pregnancy about 2 1/2 months ago and they had to remove my left tube, I was planing on waiting quite a while to have another child about a week and 1/2 ago I found out that I am pregnant again, I had an ultrasound a couple days ago and there is a gestational sac in my uterus but no signs of a baby right now so they say that either I am miscarring or I am couple weeks less pregnant then my dates would imply, waiting is unbarable and my next Dr. appointment isnt for a couple of weeks. I dont feel ready to go through this again emotionaly but I want to know either way whats going on. any advice?

ok well im am well was 6 weeks pg two days ago i started bleeding bright pinkish blood i went to the hosp right away they did an u/s and blood work they told me that the sac apeared empty and was in a lower possition and that my hcg was ow well tody i went to see my doctor and they are having me wait it out let the baby come out on its own the want to cheak my hcg levels every 48 hrs after they go down my doc says well get me on birth cont anway i got a call a few hours later saying my levels are going up and that they want to see me in 48hrs to see where they are and that i may have not miscarried to treat my self like i didnt im so confused i spent two days trying to come to terms with losing the baby and now this what could it mean is it possible ??

I am currently 9 weeks pregnant I was told it was twins 2 sacs had a Sonia on Wed. Doc said one sac is healthy the 2nd twin sac is nit healthy ans can't really see the fetus I am to follow up on Monday to check the progress but I have been spotting a brownish color for 2 weeks already no tissue.. doc said most likely I will miscarry twin sac 2 but I can still be able to deliver twin sac one

I hope all went well with your Monday Checkup. This happened to my daughter. She started spotting at 5 1/2 weeks. Went in for an Ultrasound and saw one good sac possibly another sac but not sure. One week later she went to the ER with very bad pain and bleeding. The Dr. told her she had a miscarriage. They did a vaginal US and said there was absolutely no other sac in there. She spent the next week devistated. She went back in to have an external ultrasound just to make sure everything was ok and they saw a 7 1/2 week beating heart! She delivered a healthy baby boy. Always get a second or third opinion!!

Thank you so much for responding and congrats on the grand baby.. just after my post 2 weeks ago on that Monday they said the twin sac 2 was now empty and i continued discharging now I will be 12 weeks pregnant and twin sac 1 is active and seems healthy. I am keeping my hopes up that I continue to carry this pregnancy and that it's a healthy baby. Thanks again for helping me see a light at the end of my tunnel

today I have another daughter who is going through this waiting game also. She has had 2 live births and 3 miscarriages. @ what she thought was an 8 week checkup she had a US done and they could only see a sac. They told her it only looked to be around 5 1/2 weeks though. Told her probably going to miscarry. she does have a tilted uterus which I have read can make a difference too. They gave her 2 HCG results within a few days of each other and her count went from 45000 to 42000. She feels like she is just waiting to miscarry.I have read though that HCG levels decline around the eight or ninth week. But through much prayer I believe God wants to give us the desires of our hearts if we just come to him in obediance and ask him in prayer. Believeing that being the almighty creator and loving father he is, unless he has another plan, I believe he will give her this little miracle. She goes in tomorrow for an ultrasound so we will soon see.She was 10 weeks on Monday according to her LMP. Anyone reading this Please lift her up in prayer. Thaks you in advance. I will post results tomorrow.

Oh, I am sorry for the loss of the one twin but excited for the healthy one. The ER Dr.'s actual words were, "it would be a miracle if there was another fetus in there" Well, Miracles Do happen That was 3 yrs. ago.

My Daughter had her ultrasound today. They now could see something in the sac and that she is measuring 7 weeks. But could not see a heartbeat. OB said it could be that it stopped developing at 7 weeks. She should be 10 weeks according to her LMP. OB said sac is sitting really high and maybe that (along with her tilted uterus) is why it's so hard to find. She didn't do any more blood work. Just going to come back in 2 weeks, if no miscarriage by then.%-) I am not going to worry at this time. No way is there enough evidence for me. I am just so impatient so the next 2 weeks are going to be grueling. I wish I had my daughter's patience! :-D

Your stories bring me hope. My LMP was 3/7/12 and as my period was suppose to be coming on 4/4/12 I began to feel pregnant. I went in to the doctor and they did an hcg check and they say that on 4/2/12 my count was 36 and on 4/4/12 hcg was 20. I have not bled, nor had any cramps. I am going to get a second opinion because I took a pt today and it was positive. They want me to come back in 3 weeks for a check up but I have had nothing but trouble with this doctors office when trying to have a baby. I am praying with you all and I ask that you do the same for me.

I had a miscarriage on 4/4/12, where I was almost 7 weeks. Twins run in my family, and today I swear I felt baby movement.. I have had a baby before, so I know what to identify. I had a light period in may, not really the way it usually is...
Twins run in my family, and I am wondering if I just miscarried one twin. They never did an ultrasound on me... I feel like if I were to go back to doc now, after two months asking them for an ultrasound they would think I was having psychological issues.. If I do not start my period in the next week, I am going to ask for an Ultrasound. I have a check up scheduled for 6/20.. Ah.. After reading these stories, it gives me hope.

I am in the same boat as some of you. I found out I was pregnant on 5/28. They said I was 6W4D but there was only a gestational sac and a yolk sac. Three days later on 5/31, I woke up with horrible cramps and i was passing clots. I went back to the er and my levels dropped from 7900 to 3900 and they told me I miscarried. I went to the obgyn on 6/11 for a blood test and ultrasound and I had to call today for the results. The only thing they told me was my levels were still reading high and to come in on friday. I also dont know when my last period was because I have PCOS (my best guess is about 5 months ago). can anyone help me? I have no idea what to think, Ive never been pregnant before and I dont want to gets my hopes up yet, but I cant imagine what its like to miscarry :/

I'm new to this. I am going through the same. I found out I was pregnant 6/5 and did my bloodwork 6/7. It came back with a low level of 23. I'm on progesterone and rechecked my levels again 6/12. Levels came back at a 3. No bleeding or crampings. I'm so hurt and confused because this is my fourth miscarriage. :-(
