hi, how did your pregnancy work out? I miscarried a twin about 19 days ago and have had no bleeding since and have been on progesterone pressaries. The gp rang me last night saying my hcg had dropped to 19 and that my bdy has prob just absorbed the other twin.. But i still feel I am pregnant. Ive already had two ultrasounds and dont want another one before 13 weeks. Im almost 7 weeks.
Can this twin jsut not be producing a lot of HCG?

Hi, help needed as I'm really confused upset and stressed about the whole situation, I miscarried 11 weeks ago at 6 weeks then immediately became pregnant again, at 8 weeks I started spotting on and off for about 5 days then there was nothing for 4 days until I woke up one night soaked in blood with 1 or 2 little clots, after that there has been no more blood, I considered this to be a miscarriage even tho the symptoms where different to my previous one. 3 weeks later I'm still getting positive test results and strong symptoms of feeling pregnant including round ligament pains, I have been to my doctor who said just to rest and that it still seems like I'm pregnant ( not very helpful!) I just need to know if I am pregnant or not I'm so confused right now as I have no idea what is going on! Can anyone help me?

I'm not sure what date my last period was but it was between July 19 and July 24... In august I miss my period and implantation bleeding... But theres a twist in this august 30 I pass through blood clots and September 1 I went to ER they gave me an ultrasound checked my hcg level it was 1700 the doctor said I didn't have miscarriage but I had a threaten miscarriage... I was still on my period that day. The doctor told me if I don't bleed heavier then he seen if I don't fill up over one pad in one hour I didn't have a miscarriage. So I goes to my family doctor on September 5 she tells me my cervix still closed I am still pregnant I had been stopped bleeding two days before I went... They gave me a blood test to check my hcg level so I go to a women clinic next which this doctor delivered my first child 9 months ago... So she tells me in my urine it says I'm not pregnant she give me a blood test it says I am so I tell her what ER told me... And she says your hcg level is 1250 from the 5th then two days later after she give me another one she tells me it went down to 33 on the phone... Then when I went in she tells me I went from 1700 to 59 to I'm not pregnant anymore its a done deal come back next week to get an D&C... So I'm confused why is she giving me numbers like that? Like dang I suppose to got an ultrasound I did ask for one every time I went in she didn't want to give me one she check my cervix she said it was closed every time I went... She told me I don't need to more babies because I already have one that's 9 months... So I think that's fishy for her to tell me that then tell me to come in for an D&C... But I haven't got my last blood result back from last week September 17 because my mother told me not to go back to them because of her comment... I don't know if I could still be pregnant or not but I still getting pregnancy symptoms...

sounds like you are having a miscarage, my daughter inlaw did the same thing , it can be normal to spot blood and discharge brown , but if your hcg levels go down there is a good chance you are having a miscarage. sorry to say this but the nurse told us it was fine and she was wrong, we lost the baby 3 weeks ago, but how ever her hcg levels are going back up and she had a dnc, I cant understand why her is going up unless there is a mircle baby in there.

I'm 5 1/2 weeks pregnant my hormone levels keep dropping and dropped 1/3 over 48 hrs. My Dr is telling me there is no chance of the baby making it. Is there anyway your hormones can come back up or anything I can do to prevent a miscarriage?

I had my last period Sep 28.. I started feeling sick and took a test it came back with tao lines one slightly faint.. back and forth to the doctor's every week to make sure HTC levels were increasing they where, but then I started bleed which I bleed the whole time from Oct until the doctor's say I miscarried. . I think I was pregnant with more than one baby.. I think it was triplets. Still feeling like im pregnant doctors always wont to tell us that we cld be threatening miscarriage. I dont wont to hear that this year 2013 so many wome are online saying the doctors said they miscarried. My gut tells me to give my baby time to come out to be seen, and to stay away from doctors at this moment I quit my job because it was makin me bleed.. Yes it is possible to be pregnant with multiples and lose one and not the other if they each had their own gestational sac. Also if you had any sex even protected after the miscarriage you could have became pregnant again with another child.

Hi I'm Megan I have no idea wats going on I have bleeding a little very very light it was brown bleeding the other day...had to go to the hospital last Wednesday because it was so heavy...my hcg levels were 30,000 at the hospital...they said I was fine and everything looked good now I'm scared because I had to go for blood work and they told me 2day I'm at 20,000 I'm so scared I'm going to lose this baby...going for blood work and ultrasound 2marrow I really hope everything goes well

To my original question. I did end up still pregnant and gave birth to a very healthy baby girl who had the same due date when I originally. Found out I was pregnant and before all the bleeding started. When I explained to my doctor that I know I did not have any contact with my husband since the bleeding and drop in hcg levels and had no idea how I was pregnant or still pregnant His reply was well I am from Nazareth and we believe in immaculate conception. Of course with a smile. The theory of it being twin could have been correct.

My daughter had a miscarrage and also a etopic pregnancy, which wasn't found untill a month later when the tube ruptured, She had 3 vaginal ultrasounds and non of them found the tubal pregnancy. Not very happy with the medical personel.
