i saw that someone posted mixing depressants with depressants is dangerous..actually mixing depressents with with stimulants is REALLY dangerous. i just drank alittle and usually take a benadryl, allergy medication , or cough medicine to putt be to sleep(i know it sounds bad) but there were none left so i looked at whats left and theres prescripted tylenol/codeine..so i took one and it was a medium sized pill(larger than a regular pill)so i was checking for effects on the internet and the first comments on this site started freaking me out...people sayong it will kill you...then i read this girls post where she said she went out partying and took acoupke codeines and hella shots and weighs 120 pounds and now i feel better..thankyou girl..you relieved my what was going to be an anxiety attack

Well i took 2 pills yeasterday after drinking a load of both beer and spirits to get a buzz, nothing bad happened it just relaxed me a lot and made it harder to walk but no passing out and no bad effects. still they warn you not to do it for a reason

yesterday i was drinking pretty steadily with some mates and probably went through 8 beer and about a mickey of whiskey, at the end of the night i ended up taking 8 t3's one at a time and had a great time. no puking, was quite stoned and slept like a baby

Last night I went to a concert and decided to take codeine beforehand. I have some left over from when it was prescribed, so I took one a few hours before the show when we started drinking. I had a couple beers then took another. I ended up having around 9 beers and two pills. I had never done this before, and it hit me pretty hard. i once had quite a fair bit of vodka and 2 codeine pills, i went dizzy, eyes went blurred and passed out on my bed.

Whoever said you'll die if you mix the two clearly have no idea what they're talking about. TRUST ME IGNORE THEM!
I took three 8mg tablets over the course of the past four hours and just had 3/4 of a medium bottle of vodka and all I'm feeling is gooood.
I've taken these with a hell of a lot more alcohol than this and been completely fine!!!
Although, I will say: I am a regular drug user. I know this makes no difference, since none of the recreational drugs I take are of the opiate family and the reason I'm on it right now isn't for recreational benefits: since I see none to the pills. However, I thought this important you know, if you are to listen to my advice.
I've mixed a lot of drugs and alcohol in the past; so if anything I know what I'm talking about. I'm not addicted to any, in fact tonight is the first night I've had a drink (or even any drug), for a month and a half; since I've been trying to save money, but pleeeease trust me: I know what I'm talking about!
You will not die! Drink as much as you like and don't take more than two (or double your recommended dosage which prepares for such situations); and you'll be a-okay: I'm sure :-))
I will however leave you on one note, (perhaps the note of a druggies haha [I joke of course]): don't take the risk: if you're not willing to face the risk.

i took 6 mg tablets and heaps of alcohol and mixed it with 2 otehr tablets and had a great night...until i threw up but apart from that it was great

That sucks for you guys... I'm currently on 120mg of codiene (tylenol 4) and I've been drinking vodka almost all day. I mix the two all the time. It makes me extremely happy and calm. Everything slows down. I just throw on some Pink Floyd or Tool and I'm good to go. It's an amazing experience, but watch your alchohol. Don't drink as much as you usually do.
I've never had trouble breathing.. in fact, it let's me breathe better than normal. For those who have bad reactions, I am so sorry you cannot experience the feeling I currently have.
As for my ability to type while in this state, you are not aware of how much backspacing I had to do.

I have been on codeine for pain relief long term, (so my system is used to it) and when i want to have a bit of a party, i knock back 3 or 4 60mg tab and have a couple of vodka's and i'm good to go. I have never felt the need to monitor my breathing on codeine...I just get a floaty feeling and chillax BUT my husband who is 6'4" and 120kg has 1 x 60mg codeine and he passes out on the couch for 6hours! Moral of the story - start slow on a 15mg tab of codiene and never combine alcohol+codeine+paracetamol!

I had 2 vodka crans tonight, nothing major, 2 shots of vodka basically. it was around 9-10 pm. i got home around 3am and took a little more than 1 tablespoon of the leftover cough syrup with codeine the doc gave me for my bronchitis, and it hit me pretty hard. I didnt remember that i had drank earlier, cus the drinks didn't really affect me that much and the buzz has long since been gone. but I feel very dizzy and feel a little heaviness in my chest. arms are kinda numb, and feel really relaxed and high lol. started drinking tons of water and starting to feel a bit better. sh*t's scary. don't mix it with alcohol, it hits you really hard.

I had a five minute grand mall seizure....1 beer and one tyl 3....drs said it couldn't have done it....yeah right.....funny thing one hour b4 life threatening seizure the song recipe for disaster was on...chilling, haunting song, and I took note of it but did not listen to my inner voice because of stressful breakup with boyfriend.......don't mix any of that stuff if u want to live a long healthy life!!!!!!
