Hey there. I remember scouting the internet when I was having similar problems about a month ago-severe weight gain (15lb) regardless of my constant intense excercize and eating like a literal rabbit..unfortunately from my experience, there is absolutely nothing you can do to get the weight off except wait. It took me 6 months for my body to get back to normal and honestly those were the worst 6 months of my life. Because I was not on any birth control, the huge rush of hormones into my body sent my entire body into a frenzy and gave me pregnancy-like symptoms both emotionally and physically. Hope this helps! Time heals all

I remember going through the same thing you're all going through and it completely driving me into depression. After a 30 pound weight loss, I was at 139 pounds and incredibly happy with life. After taking plan B, my periods became more irregular than they've ever been, and slowly but surely, I went from 139 to 151 with no change in my diet or exercise regimen. I was constantly bloated, irritable, my hormones were incredibly imbalanced to the point where I swore I was actually pregnant, my period would skip a month entirely, and the only answers I could find were in forums like these with women experiencing the same thing. What bothered me the most is that I never seemed to get any answers as to when it'll go back to normal cause no one seemed to do a follow up post, which is why it was important for me to do one in case theres anyone out there going through the same thing. Now this definitely different for every one, some women went back to normal in 3 months, some are still suffering after a year and a half, but as for me, it took about 7 months. I continued to eat clean and exercise 5-6 times a week, but I think the biggest thing that aided me was to just stop stressing over it. I realized at a point that the constant anxiety about it was literally ruining my life; I was so insecure to a point where I didn't even want to see my friends. It came to a point where I told myself "this isn't gonna last forever and it is out of your control, so just relax and live your life." I of course exercised and ate well not to make matters worse, but eventually, my body figured itself out. My period is still not regular which sucks, but my weight is currently at 143 and my emotions are finally within my control haha. I'm still not 100% cured from this disaster but seeing progress is more than relieving, and if I've learned anything, it is that I will NEVER be taking plan b agin. but have hope ladies!!! this won't last forever!!!

I am so relieved to see this thread , I am going through this right now and having the worst time with it. I have gained weight so fast and I knew it was from the plan B pill I took over 3 weeks ago, I bled for 3 days about a week after taking it and my normal period was supposed to come today or tomorrow. I took a pregnancy test because I thoigh with this sudden weight gain (I mean my boobs are enormous ) ans then the three day bleeding which I was thinking could of been implantation bleeding but luckily the test said I am not pregnant. But this weight gain is a super major bummer and I’m hoping it goes away soon was supposed to leave for Europe to spend xmas with my husbands family and some that I will be meeting for the first time . And it looks like they will be meeting one hell of a WHALE!! So depressed about this weight gain. I will definitely never ever take it again! This is awful. I feel your pain ladies.
