My Dad recently had 80% of his pancreas removed, How is the remaining portion functioning?

My Dad recently had 80% of his pancreas removed after discovering AdneoCA. It was a incidental finding and the surgeon said he was able to remove the tumor and surrounding tissues and margins look clear. Anyone else dealt with this and how are you doing?How is the remaining portion of the pancreas functioning? thank yoU
