For some time now this lymph node keeps re-appearing in his groin and swelling out quite big, what could be the cause? %-)

The lymph node swelling could be due to an injury or infection usually in the lower half of the body. It could also be due to a viral infection but usually more than one region would be effected.
Has he been to a doctor? Has blood work been done.
It is also important that he has done a testicular self exam. Testicular cancer can cause swollen lymph nodes in the groin.
I'd suggest he see a doctor if he has not.

Thats what i thought that it must be due to something being wrong in that area..Do you think it could be because he's been a bit ill recently and he never rests properly and is always at the gym.
No, he hasnt been to a doctor but recently went for a check up for any infections and came back clear.
I'll advise him to do a self exam.

He had a migraine for three days that wasnt responding to painkillers, and was being sick and felt very weak etc. He's fine now though. But his lymph node has come up when his feeling fine. I had the same problem for years with a lymph node in my neck and had to have it removed in the end as it became very troublesome and uncomfortable. I think his is the same just in a different location.
