My wife is pregnant and we are expecting baby. Off course we hope that everything will be fine and well. But there are some worries involved. My grandfather had Huntingtons. Beside him, no one else had it. Someone told me that, based on some calculations my children are next generation that might have this disease. Is this true?

As a mother I can completely understand your concerns. I have a family history of Huntington's myself. When I was pregnant I was doing some tests and doctor told me that was OK. He also told me that some genes are to be blamed for this disease. Beside this it is important the kind of illness family member had: juvenile or senile. About the calculations he said nothing.
