I'm not sure what caused it but I recently got my lip pierced and I was told to use mouthwash after I eat or drink something. I've been using Scope Outlast since I got the piercing and I think it's really harsh on my gums because it hurts to eat and talk. My lip piercing feels fine but my bottom gums are super sore and the underside of my tongue looks swollen and the gland looks white.  Any suggestions on how to make it better?
