Im a  17 yr old female. I began feeling nauseous on monday, and proceeded to vomit. I havent been able to keep down liquids since then, some solids, but they mostly get thrown up. I havent ben able to use the bathroom at all. I have a very sharp pain in my stomach towards the right side, near my belly button. My hands and feet have been tingling, and im extremely puffy. I threw up about 20 minutes ago, and this time there was blood. I dont know whats going on, but my mom doesnt want to take me to the hospital unless its absolutely necessary. Im going on day 4 of this happening, should I go to the ER? Im getting really worried.

Hi Tha64,

You should see your doctor, NOW.  Not being able to keep fluids down for more than 3 days and vomiting blood, with your pains, could indicate appendicitis.

If you can't see your doctor NOW go to the hospital - NOW.

Yes, you need to see a doctor.  If it is appendicitis it is much easier to treat BEFORE it ruptures than after.

I can't stress this enough.  You NEED to see a doctor NOW.

Good luck.
