Hello,

I have been dealing with hemmies for about a year and I did not want to under go surgery.  I found out about the clinic in markham while researching options online.  I saw that the cost for me was going to be about 3000 dollars as I have one thrombosed extrernal hemmie and 4 level 1 internal hemmies.  They said my treatment will take about 3 weeks.  I just finished up with treatment number two.  So far the only change i have noticed is that the itching is gone and some of the discomfort has dissipated while sitting down.  I am a bit nervous about the acupuncture that I need to get as I am wondering just how much pain I will be in. I have a pretty high pain tolerance so hopefully I can make it through ok.  I will keep updating on my progress and I hope I can join others who have posted on here as being a successful patient and clear this up to live the rest of my live.

hhh466....When I first started this topic 3 1/2 years ago, I was hoping my message would resonate with those who visited this site. Fortunately, many have learned that there is an alternative to the harsh surgery that orthodox medicine uses to effect a cure. It is wonderful that God has listened to your prayers. But you might also praise the folks at Steady Health and those who have contributed their experiences. Such is the wonder of the internet that one's life can be turned around just from information that would not be readily available. Best to you hhh466. You are young and I wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous life.

Kudos to you Martin for starting this thread. I'm sure it has helped a lot of people including me. From not being able to sit down at all I'm now at a point where I can sit down but with a little discomfort. Waiting anxiously for the day when I can sit down without having to worry about anything!

Well things have been going pretty well so far.  I have no pain at all with BM and the itching has completely stopped. Today I go in for the acupuncture part and I am def nervous due to the pain and discomfort people have talked about.  I will let people know how the next phase goes of this but so far things have been great and are progressing nicely.

So I went in today thinking I was going to get the acupuncture done but Dr. Chen has decided that it should be done next week instead.  So all that nervous day for nothing as I just got the treatment done as before.  Still feel better every day and the external hemmie has shrunk a bit since I started treatment this week.

Today I can finally say that I am cured. No words to express how relieved I am. I still have a week of treatment left but today after almost 3 weeks I am finally pain free!!! I consider myself lucky to have found this forum and wish everyone the best of luck toward their cure.

Well still plugging along with the treatment.  I am experiencing a bit of discomfort between treatments the last couple days.  More pressure then pain however I have noticed a decrease in the size of my thrombosis and hopefully that continues.  Dr Chen seems pleased with the progress.  My acupuncture has been set up for tuesday.  I will give a report on how that goes as a number of people have said that is the real pain and discomfort day.  They did tell me today to make sure I am not working that afternoon and evening.  I def am noticing results.  Slowly getting better each day.  Like others I can not wait for the day I dont have any pain and discomfort and feel like a new man again.

If you want to try something less dramatic than surgery first check this out: What is the main cause of hemorrhoids? Straining right? So how to lessen the strain? Diet will help of course but may take time and be hard to change. A quick immediate approach is to find a way to get things moving with the internal plumbing and one approach would be an enema. That will work but it's time consuming and awkward.

Besides delivering simply superior hygiene it can also be used to shoot a quick power shot of water up the pipes. And just like priming a pump (for those too young to know what that means Google it or ask an older person) the water will loosen things up and get them moving, without straining. Simple, fast and easy and logical, not a "miracle cure".

I had my acupuncture done last week and what I can tell you is that it will sting a little when he pricks you with the needles but honestly its not that bad and fortunately it only takes like 5 minutes. After they put on the medicine which starts to burn within half an hour. They'll give you pain killers too if it gets too much. I never ended up taking them since for me the pain from the acupuncture was nothing compared to the fissure pain I used to have. Do expect a lot of discomfort though. I pretty much spent all that day in bed but the next morning everything was so much better and it was like I never even had the acupuncture done. Dont know how different an acupuncture for a fissure or hemorrhoids will be but best of luck!

well yesterday I received the acupuncture treatment where they really put the "medicine" as they call it to work. It sure does pack a punch. I had a very large thrombosis so they really had to attack it with more then they normally would according to them and I think thats why I was in quite a bit of discomfort for most of the night until morning. It was def difficult to get much sleep. After I had my BM tho the pain really decreased. It was also accompanied by quite a bit of blood however they did warn me about that as this was normal. The really great news is the pain is minimal today and the thrombosis has shrunk to almost nothing. Hopefully over the next few days it dries out and falls off for good. I am def happy with the results and cant wait till everything is back to normal for good.

Hi Everyone,
Maybe another perspective can help. I'm a 31 year old woman who had a thrombosed hem (that is what I initially went to NATCM for) and then later got a fissure as well. I've been attending NATCM now for almost 4 weeks. I am a big time researcher as well so I can understand the frustration people have regarding the sheer LACK of information on the internet surrounding NATCM. After 2.5 weeks my thrombosed hem was completely cured. Unfortunately I later (a week later) got a deep fissure, so I'm back at NATCM. The treatment DEFINITELY works. But it takes time. Going in every single day for 10 minutes. And then the ITCHING. OMG the itching. It is brutal. Basically new skin forms from deep within essentially sloughing off the diseased skin. And this process produces brutal levels of itching and soreness. But I think when I am cured this will be well worth it.

Would NEVER want to have surgery. That comes with tons of side effects. There are NO side effects for NATCM. Just investing your personal time. But if you cant invest time and money for your own well being there is really no point to life.

I hope I have helped with the argument above. I'm happy to help more if I can. I know I personally had dozens of questions at no one was there to help me out. NATCM the doctors dont speak english fluently. And when you ask questions sometimes they snap at you in their chinese accent. I guess they are confident about what they do, and yes they aren't hungry for business. But a little bit of tact would be nice. Try to see dr. chen if possible, the lady doctor is terrible there. Very rude.

And to the San Fran person who wrote above. I thought there was a clinic in the US but there isn't. I was going to tell my brother to go he lives in Chicago. There are only 2 clinics in North America. One in Toronto in a suburb called Markham and then another in Vancouver. If you call the Toronto clinic ask to speak to lisa at the front desk. She is the only non-chinese employee there and I personally found my questions were best answered by her.

Good to hear that. Your treatment will soon end now and then they'll call you for a follow up appointment 2 weeks later to check if everything is normal. it's funny how now when I overhear people saying this or that was a pain in the ass, I say to myself buddy you don't even want to know what pain in the ass feels like lol

hi.

I'm wondering if all of you who have gone to NATCM for treatment, I'm curious about a few things.  nothing more than just statistical or research or whatever.  I'm personally considering to go to the Vancouver clinic as soon as I've saved up enough money.

Anyways, my questions:

Which Clinic did you attend to?

Which Doctor treated you?

When did you get your treatment?

What treatments did you have done?

How long did your treatment last?

Where did you travel from?

Where did you stay during your treatment?

Any cost-saving advice for the trip?

How soon were you able to walk around freely?

(i'm curious if i'm to stay for a few weeks, if i'll ever be healed enough to sight see and walk around, even if i'm not 100percent healed yet.)

If you care to share, how much did the whole treatment and overall trip cost you?

alright, i guess that's it.

thanks!
