Before my treatment in Toronto, I read these pages over and over, and the detailed information that you had about the chens (which is NOT available anywhere), made me hesitate your role and intentions. No offense, but you, yourself say over and over, that you and the "chens" are good friends, do lunches, and see each from time to time. Are you their English translator? You said you want to help the chens because your new "butt" is courtesy of the chens ....courtesy?...as in free?

Can you clarify the nature of your relationship with NATCM? I think it would help everyone understand your intentions. What I have found in my research of NATCM is that your company Permacharts does appear to have corporate activity with NATCM as well as the Hippocrates Health Institute which also advertises for NATCM and sells the Chen's products online.

What it appears is that your company Permacharts is a partner with the Hippocrates Health Institute for what is labeled the "Helping Hands Program", which hands out pamphlets on health, but also provides a discount to attend the institute itself (everyone feel free to simply google "Permacharts Helping Hands Program"). On the Helping Hands Program's website, NATCM is clearly listed under "Strategic Sponsors". You can also note under "Sponsored Events" that Helping Hands program attends the same "Whole Life Expo" in Toronto which NATCM attends. It was at this expo that you (Cbello) made the youtube video which people have mentioned, where you describe your experience with NATCM.

All I am saying is that there is a clear connection (which does involve business) between yourself, the Hippocrates Health Institute, and NATCM. You are partnered with Hippocrates (at very least for Helping Hands) who has published your article on NATCM in their own health magazine, sells the Chen's herbs online, etc. And meanwhile, NATCM acts as a sponsor for your program Helping Hands, which advertises the Hippocrates Health Institute.

I am not making judgments into this information, I am simply pointing it out. Again, I think everyone would appreciate your clarifying exactly what the nature of your relationship is with NATCM given how you appear to be their number one supporter.

Hello everyone: This is Martinv. The gentlemen who originally started this thread. It is somewhat upsetting and discouraging to read those posts that disparage the NATCM clinic. Briefly my story: I am a retired entrepreneur having started a company that manufactured and sold watches and clocks on television (CNN, MTV etc) retail, mail order (National Geographic, Smithsonian) and 60 publications, and advertising specialty. After selling the company I retired rather young at the age of 48 and took up the study of biochemistry and nutrition at the University of Bridgeport with my wife who has an M.S. degree in this area. I became very knowledgeable in the field of nutrition and alternative therapies. For 30 years I suffered with 2 internal hemorrhoids and one external hemorrhoids. I tried rubber banding, which was hell on earth and unsuccessful. The bleeding was profuse and my only recourse was a Jacuzzi and drugs for the pain which did not help. No way was I going to do a hemorrhoidectomy. For 3 weeks I was treated at NATCM in Toronto. Now 3.5 years later, I consider myself 90% cured with just a small remnant of one hemorrhoid which doesn't hurt and does not prolapse upon exercise as previously. I cannot help to believe that there is a concerted effort by some to diminish the positive effects available for curing rectal problems at the NATCM clinic. There are paid lobbyists who represent the food and drug industry who specifically denounce alternative medicine. In any case, I am one happy camper having been to the clinic. I know cbello and he is authentic. His effort to announce to others the success he has had at the clinic is pure and genuine....a benevolent service to others that should be applauded. In retirement, I am proud to say that my wife and I were recently honored by the United States Congress for our foundation which aids needy children and is in the forefront  in the prevention of childhood bullying. Ok, thanks for taking the time to give this info! It's very helpful to hear specifics of actual experiences there from people with similar cases to mine.

This is the same info posted on their website that no one has been able to verify and none of the institutions listed have corroborated. To be clear, anyone can write up their own biography for internet advertising. Thus far we have been able to uncover nothing to substantiate any of these claims.

I'm not saying they're not true, but if there is no capability to back them up with evidence or facts, or even references, there is no point in making the statements to begin with as they should essentially be taken with a grain of salt.

kel2985... Wow what a doubting Thomas! I get the feeling you are part of the cabal on the internet who spread misinformation on alternative therapy healing. Not to long ago on Quackwatch, a lobbyist for the tobacco industry and big Pharma claimed he was an MD and psychologist. Numerous associated websites went after every major alternative professional in the field. Finally after a lawsuit, it was revealed his license to practice psychology had expired years ago due to malpractice. Kel2985...Yes it might be difficult to verify information given that NATCM is a Chinese Company. I do have though in my possession a twenty page full color booklet showing the Chen family hospitals including photos of Dr. Chen receiving awards from the highest officials in the Chinese Communist Party. Sometimes one must have faith in the words of others. And there are a number of us who have had a very satisfactory outcome at NATCM. I would suggest given your discomfort that you undergo a hemorrhoidectomy and see what orthodox medicine has to offer. Hopefully, you will not have the same result as that poor 17 year old who recently posted that for 21/2 weeks he could not achieve a sufficient bowel movement after having the operation..pain and all. First of all congratulations on your recent honours award. I believe you shouldn’t be upset at the recent posts. Personally, I am grateful to people like you and cbello who shared their positive experiences in forums like this one, so we can all learn about it. Still, it is through forums like this one, that people could potentially mislead others. We teach our kids to questions and investigate thoroughly the veracity of information we are exposed on the Internet. Nothing wrong with that. Exactly the opposite. We cannot take at face value all the information provided by individuals. This is not about cbello, this is about finding out the veracity of all the information people provide. He has provided a lot of details. He is adamant that treatment is close to perfection. I have had a positive experience myself, but also have had the chance to talk to other ones in the waiting room, and many were not that happy with the results. Almost everyone I talked to said “better”, but none said I have a “brand new baby bottom”. Someone who is promoting the clinic services, so passionately, makes you question.
Lookingintoit, thanks for sharing your findings. I note now, the number one supporter has some business links with NATCM. Again, perhaps nothing wrong with it, but worth noting.

In this paragraph you both give an example of exactly why we should do our research into those claiming to possess certain qualifications with your lobbyist scenario, then went on to say sometimes we need to have faith in the words of others. I don't know what makes you think I would do the same research on a western doctor, especially one I was traveling and spending thousands of dollars to see. I'd love to know where you got this 20 page booklet and where those of us who have been trying to research NATCM could acquire one.

Re your suggestion that I should pursue a hemorrhoidectomy, I don' think it's really your place to suggest what type of procedure anyone should undergo, even if it is in a sarcastic manner.

The booklet was obtained at NATCM from the receptionist. I suggest given your concern and suspicion of the procedure, you spend a few bucks and make an appointment with Dr. Chen. . I am happy that others who have praised the merits of NATCM have had both the success and the courage to be open to a therapy different from orthodox medicine. One can make a difference and that is the beauty of the world wide web.

MartinV & Cbello, i understand you both mean well, but honestly just the way you both come off actually only fuels the frustation of all this.  it's like all i'm noticing is copy & paste, copy & paste.

 

is there really no other way to get the word out about these world renowned chens?  if yall know them so well, is it too much to request that they come on here, and intereact with us, even for just a few minutes, to give us a little more information and alleviate our concerns and hesitations?

or is steadyhealth and a few other forums really the only way for anyone to know about them?

 

if they have doctors flying back and forth from china to canada and wherever else, i imagine these doctors aren't paying for their own flights, room or board.  if they have that kind of budget, maybe they can kick a little tiny bit of that budget into a marketing strategy that's more effective.  I imagine there are plenty of writers and journalists out in the world who also deal with booty problems, and if NATCM even were to give just a handful of these writers or other health professionals or health bloggers a a demonstration "courtesy of the chens", why would they not want to share this kind of information?  

you know...if NATCM was in my town or even 400 miles north in san francisco, like the chens have mentioned, I wouldn't hesitate to drive up and check them out.

but considering that they are a bit farther than my budget can blindly invest in, i'm all about doing as much research as i can before jumping on a plane, getting a hotel that could possibly last as long as a month or even longer, food, transportation, etc.

 

 

 

The Chinese doctors are not hungry for business. They are very independent and primarily serve the Chinese communities. You can take a chance with a regular orthodox physician or pay a visit to Vancouver or Markham Toronto. You can weigh the pain and possible complications of an operation versus the cost of flying to Canada. for a relatively painless procedure. I made my choice 3 years ago. You can make yours.. No need for me to convince anyone. My only reward is helping others. To your good health, Martinv
