In the same boat as you!! I have had cycles that range from 31-47 days my period is very sporadic but I am 2 weeks late but took a pregnancy test 2 days ago that was negative and a week before (which should have been the last day of my missed period) and that was also negative. Stress delays periods by a lot and you can make your body think you are preganant when you aren’t.

Hi Im pauline. Im 24 yrs old. Im 2 weeks delayed. My last period was march 4-8. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex last march 17. I should have my period april 1. I tried Pregnancy test kit and it shows one clear line and the other line is not clear. Pls. Help. Thanks

Hi Pauline,

You haven't stated your cycle length, but if it is the typical 28-day cycle, then 17 March would likely have been a fertile day.

On a typical test kit, there is a control line, and will always be shown if the kit is working properly. The complete absence of a second line would indicate a negative result, but a second line (even if faint) would be a positive result.

If "the other line is not clear", then it suggests the 2nd line is a faint one, and so positive. however, as it is faint, I suggest another test using 1st-morning urine. The first urine in the morning would have more concentration of hCG levels.

If you took the test properly and it was taken at least 21 days since your last sexual activity, then the result is likely to be reliable. However, you have not given much information.

What were the start-dates of your last 6 periods?
On what dates did you have sex since your last period?
What date did you take the test?

I had uprotected sex last monday dated april 30th. In my menstruation calendar, i am expecting my menstruation on may 14th. And the day i had sex which is april 30th is my ovulation day and it says i have a high chance of pregnancy. What should i do? I had orgasm and he had withdrawal. I am just worried that i might be pregnant i hope not. Should i take contraceptive pills?

We had unprocted sex after my period. now im 2 weeks delayed and i think im having early signs of pregnancy. my cycle is normal every month - 28 days . Had my pt last april 26 it was negative but still no period. Am i pregnant?

You are your most fertile on OD, so why did you have sex then?

Emergency Contraception is to prevent ovulation, and you have to take the EC pill within (usually) 72 hours (3 days), although you can take EllaOne (where are you from?) within 120 hours (5 days). If he 'withdrew' well before his orgasm, there is a chance no sperm entered you, but some men do have sperm in their pre-cum.

If you had your 22 Mar period on time, then 21 March would not have been a fertile day.
You said, "We had unprocted sex after my period" but didn't state the date.
However, if the test you took on 26 April was taken correctly and at least 21 days after your last sex, then it is likely to be accurate.

I'm from the philippines. I just used trust pills yesterday which is the 5th day since i had unprotected sex and lasted by the withdrawal method. I took 4 active pills and after 12 hours another 4 active pills. I am expecting my menstruation to come by 11th of may. As of right now I can feel my breasts sore, which i feel everytime my menstruation would be near. I hope i am not pregnant! I just didn't know that the day i had sex which was monday, 5 days ago, dated april 30th was my most fertile day.
