My mom has menopause period

Is your mom in menopause for a few years or has she just entered it? There is a difference because if she is still in the period called premenopause, then the spotting is acceptable.

Is she has been without a period for a full year, this means she is menopausal and should see agynecologist to check for the bleeding.

Bleeding in menopause can indicate ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, or even cancer.

I would suggest she saw a gyn anyway, as it is advised to gave regular gynecologist exams.

I have been and gone thru meno now, it's been 6 years. Thru out these 6 years i have had 3 periods, roughly a year and a half apart.
Doctor says it's nothing to worry about.
