You all just need to chill a bit a stop worrying so much. I understand that its a bit scary because most of your friends are prob regular and when you tell them they look at you like there is something wrong with you and you should be worried. Im 26 now and I experienced all of this. people telling me it was because I was underweight (I was but i ate enormous amounts of food - meat, potatoes, pasta, everything - so nothing I could do about that at the time), and once I finally put on weight nothing changed. Yes there are many things that it could be, and if you are extremely worried go and talk to a doctor if you can. If you cant, dont worry about it for now. yes it could be polycystic ovarian syndrome or a number of other things, just like headaches could be a brain tumor. I spent years worrying about future fertility and what the hell was going on, had a number of tests only to be told that there is absolutely nothing wrong, I just have something called dysfunctional uterus which just means there is no reason why its this way, thats just how it is. Youre all too young to be worrying so much, so just chill and enjoy the fact that you dont have to deal with it every month. For a couple of month a little while ago I actually got mine about every 30 days and OMG it is so annoying getting it that close together, you feel like it just finished and then BAM there it is again. There are plenty of options down the line in terms of increasing fertility chances etc so just enjoy it for now. and obviously down the line get a few tests to rule stuff out and whatever but please stop stressing, you all sound so worried but I promise there is nothing to worry about atm.

I'm 13 and I get my period every 2 to 3 months. It's been a month and a few days since I have had my period. I looked up on some websites and they said that you won't have your period if you're pregnant. I'm really paranoid now ever since I found out about that. I'm afraid to tell my mother about this as she may think I did it with someone and got pregnant. Can someone please tell me if this is normal ASAP so I can stop thinking about this? ;-;

Hi, I'm 14 and I got my period 2 years ago when I was twelve. After a year of my first period, I realized that my period wasn't coming on every month; it comes on every 2 to 3 months. All my friends have theirs even month, shouldn't I have mine every month

I'm 18 and my period still only comes on every 2 months. Every body is different! When I first got my period it came on every other month, I told my doctor and he said I was fine. Then my period started coming on every 2 months, I got tested, everything was normal. Tbh I glad my period doesn't come on often, it's s pain anyway.

I am 22 and period used to be normal (period once a month) and then recently changed to having my period every 2 months. The flow seems normal but my cycle recently changed during this year. I have gained a little weight but am unsure of what may be causing my period to change like that. I live with my mom currently, who has irregularly periods (possibly due to menopause). Do you think I am syncing with her cycle? Although this recently occurred (has been 2 cycles) and I had moved back over a year ago. What do you think?
