Hi guest, I take it you haven't had any kind of sexual contact for that to be a reason why it's late, how about stress have you been stressed over anything for that to be a reason?

I started my period when I was 9, yes a young developer and it was pretty normal and heavy, then I started exercising around age 12 and lost some weight.(it was a healthy weight) I'm now 14 and my periods are very light. I gained some weight back and I exercise regularly but they only come every 3 months and are not even blood. Does anyone know why it's like this?

I'm a teen and when I first got my period yeah I freaked out. Next month I didn't get it. I freaked out thinking that I was pregnant even though I never in my life has done it with anyone. Then next month it came back. Sometimes it comes every month, other times it comes once every couple of months. I'm afraid to tell my mom and I told a doctor I know (not mine she is firned) and she said that this isn't normal... I'm just afraid

Hi, that really depends how long you have been having your periods for because through puberty they can be very irregular and can take your body a while to adjust.

That's totally normal for someone your age! Don't panic! When you get your first period, sometimes it doesnt actually start untilthe next year! So don't panic! For a 20 year old woman like me however, to not get your period consistentlyrics with out taking birth control isnt normal.
