My first period came in the first 4 days of September and then it came in the last 5 days of October. Which is 23 days late. Now it's almost the end of November and I still didn't get my third period. It's 8 days late. Both my first and second period lasted for 4 days only and it was a very light flow. Sometimes nothing came out for a day while I was having them. Now I'm worried about my third period. It came come to me now at any time but I'm wondering... is it normal for your period skip a month?

Mine used to be just like this. It's normal now but I guess it's different for other people and it's pretty normal for it to skip some months when you just start but if it takes any longer you should probably see a doctor if your that concerned.

I have it every 2 or 3 months also. My mother, whom she is a medical archevist for 3 years told me that only rare percentage of people like u and me have it. It's not related to health problems but is only a sign of uniqueness

Check your thyroid hormones. Hyperthyroidism may be a potential cause for menstrual irregularities. Signs of hyperthyroidism may include but not limited to: weight loss, increase heart rate, increase blood glucose and fatty acid levels, decrease cholesterol and lipids, diarrhea, increase bowel movements, and what I've mentioned earlier, menstrual irregularity.
