So since this past Sunday, my right breast has been causing me pain. I thought it would end in a few days (my period was ending/ended on Sunday) as some women complain about sore breasts during thier period. It's now Thursday evening and it still hurts. Where is the pain? On the top, but in the middle of my boob, towards the left. Does this make sense? There is a lump there that wasn't there before, atleast I never noticed it before the pain started. A few times the pain migrated to my other boob, but I don't feel any lumps on it. The pain isn't enough to make me groan/cry out, but it is really rather uncomfortable. It makes me grimace, but that's about it. The pain does go away, after a bit. I haven't timed it so I don't know exactly how long it lasts.

No, I'm not pregnant or breast-feeding. I masturbate, but I highly doubt the pain is related.

Could it be a build up of something of excess in my body? Could my boobs be going thru a random growth spirt? As I'm 18, I doubt that but it's not unheard of. My right breast has always been smaller than my left, could they be catching up to each other? I don't know if I should go to the doctor's or not. I probably should, but I'd rather not if it's avoidable.

Any tips to get rid of the pain, or what might be causing it, would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, it makes me more than grimace. Right now it's a dull, persistant ache. I took some ibuprophen, so that should help me sleep tonight. It helps if I rub/massage it, but I can't do that in the middle of classes now can I?

If you have a lump then you should see your Doctor, however it is quite normal for women to have different size breasts.

Nevermind. It felt like a lump, but was a hard muscle. I must've done too many fist pumps and hard clapping at the games last weekend. Streched out my chest/pectoral (right term?) muscles too much.
