i just turned 16 and I have been sexually active for about a year and a half now and I had my period about 2 weeks ago but then i had sex about 5 days ago and Ive been having more discharge then i can recall ever having. and Right now Im having some lower pains but not like period pains like slight ones. Whats wrong? Is that normal?

First, please tell me that you're using a birth control method and hopefully, being active with only one partner?
Secondly, a discharge of any kind is not normal. It's usually a sign of a bacterial infection called vaginosis and is cured with antibiotics. You can get this infection for numerous reasons: sex with numerous different partners, powder, perfumes, douching, changing detergent brands that you wash your clothes in,just to name a few.
You need to go to your gyn for an exam and smear and tell them the specifics: what color it is, how thick, or any odor among other questions they will ask you. Once they get the results of your smear back, they will be able to tell you if it is an infection or not.
Only a gynocologist can diagnose your problem, but from what you described, it's more likely to be the vaginosis.
