Hi everyone,
I need yours suggestion, Last week I had sex with a w**** without condom. I'm feeling a little bit pain in area below my tummy. Should I get HIV test right now or should I wait for a period to get the exact result. Kindly guide me.

Hi Omar,
The first sign of an HIV infection is usually the "worst case flu" you've ever had.
Pain, just after sex, is somewhat common.
It's early to test. Standard protocol is:
1. Test at exposure, to determine if you are already HIV positive.
2. Test at 30 days.
3. Test at 60 days. A negative test here is ALMOST CONCLUSIVE that you are NOT infected.
4. Test at 90 days. This CONFIRMS the 60 day test.
Hope it helps

Thank you very much.
I am too much tense because of my blunder I've made. I want to get HIV-AIDS test as soon as possible so for which option should I go out of above mentioned 4 options.

Protocol is ALL of them. That way, you begin treatment ASAP. You could just wait until 90 days passes then take the final test but, if you were positive, you'd be several months behind therapy.
