Hi. My Dad suffers from chronic neurogenic pain in his legs. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and he says this pain is persistent and feels like burning, or tingling. How to help him? What is neurogenic pain?

Hi. Neurogenic pain occurs as secondary to multiple sclerosis. There are also musculoskeletal and paroxysmal pains. Chronic neurogenic pain is a common pain syndrome in MS. It`s constant and boring and it does feel like burning. Exercise, physical therapies, non drug and drug treatments can be helpful and effective. Non-drugs treatments include relaxation, meditation and deep breathing.
