My 25 year old son is newly diagnosed with MS. Doctors say that he has a tough road ahead but are also saying he has a good chances for reducing MS symptoms for it has been diagnosed in early MS stages. Could somebody offer me some general info for he’s been newly diagnosed with MS? Thanks much.

Hi! That’s right he has got a tough road ahead but it will also be stressful for you too I’m sure for I also have a son diagnosed with MS for years now. And right now he is in hospital for he had one of those severe MS attacks and is now on corticosteroids which will shorten the attack period and reduce the MS symptoms and he’s also often prescribed avonex but I would not recommend it in cases of depression symptoms for it’s proved it might lead to suicides. But all this doesn’t mean that your son couldn’t be able to have normal life despite all possible disease that might be provoked by this condition. Those MS symptoms might get much worse by the time and in some cases may lead to paralysis but on the other hand its symptoms simply vanish, though in general this is kind of a disease that is recurrent and whose symptoms are worse by aging. You know how it is when something attacks your central nervous system no matter if it was attacked mistakenly by your own organism it never gets back on the position it used to be. So the most important for your son is to keep having prescribed treatment but I also advice to try with some alternative therapies for example make him try to use natural organic products. I think it helped my son in reducing his MS symptoms.

I occasionally hear this MD on Dr Deagle's internet show (rbnlive.com). He reports excellent success with MS.

I have been diagnosed with MS since 2003. A new symptom appeared today. I have a numb spot on the top of my head. What could this be and how will it affect me?
