no bleeding

i am 19 and i lost my virginity two weeks ago, the wierd things is i only bled a little and most likey from slight tearing because my man is a little on the bigger side. he was vey concerned that i did not bleed much which led to him thinking i may have lost my virginity with another man in my past, i am feeling distraught as i feel my first experience was painful and not very enjoyable and worse i am confused as to why i did not have my hymen still there. i had fiddled with my vagina on some occassions and once someone in the past penetrated with the tip of his penis before i said i was not ready to have sex when i saw it was painful to let him in and was not sure i wanted to have sex then, but still i do not remember ever bleeding from my vagina other than during my periods. does anyone have an explaination, i have lost everything, i thought losing it to the man i loved and respected would be a special moment but it brought up a lot of mistrust and arguments between me and him and simply because i did not bleed and i did not have an answer for him as to where it was, i am very confused.
