No heartbeat on the ultrasound at 6 weeks, Could the doctor be wrong? What will happen?

I had no HB at 6 weeks, I then had cramping and then soon after I loss all pregnancy symptoms. I was stressed so later they did another ultrasound. I was then 8 weeks, had a HB of 165 and everything looked good. No idea why everything else was happening. Best of luck to whoever comes here looking for answers.

I had my first doctors visit Friday 1-25-13 and they told me they could not see a heart beat.  I had my last period on thanksgiving 11-19-12, but my husband was away at work and didnt' get home until the begining of December.  I just went off the pill in Oct. and my period was irregular before i was on the pill.  I took a pregnancy test on Dec 17 and it was negative, a week later i still didn't have my period and took another test on Dec 24th and it came out positive.  At the doctors visit she said according to my last period I should be further along and that they it looks like the baby stopped growing at 6 1/2 weeks and that there is no heart beat and that i should schedule a D&C.  This is my 1st pregnancy and I had not gone to get blood work or anything done before this 1st docotors visit.  I've read on some forum people talking about fetal poles and yoke sakes and I don't remember her saying anything about that stuff, just that the baby was measuring to small for my dates and that there was no heartbeat  Has anyone else had a simular situation?

i just had my u/s on tuesday, im 6 weeks and the doctor could not find a heartbeat, he said every thing look fine and the baby has grown and i have had no cramping or bleeding, but no heartbeat. he said to come back in a week just to be sure, ut if there is no heartbeat by 7 weeks it wont be viabule. im so worried, but after reading what al the other ladys have had to say i think i will go back in 2 weeks just to give more time to be sure

my husband and i have lost 2 babies. i am currently pregnant with the 3rd one. i get to visit my obgyn tomorrow. last 2 pregancies were horrible (morning sickness, dehydration, severe hunger pain, vomiting everything i had eaten or dranked). and ended up miscarrying. first pregnancy, i had seen my obgyn at around 6 weeks and could detect the heartbeat but when i went for the second time the nurses and obgyn couldnt detect a heartbeat. all she said was it stopped growing a few days after i had seen her. i was still expierencing the pregancy symptoms when i saw her at 6 weeks despite the fact that it was already lost. D&C was scheduled shortly after that. same goes for the 2nd pregnancy. heard the heart beat at 6 weeks and then next appointment it was gone. it stopped growing a week later, so i had lost my 2nd on my 7 weeks. my husband and i did testings and all came negative/normal. it wasnt probably meant to be. also, i had NO signs of miscarriage. we only found out that we had lost the baby was my 2nd appointment which was 10 wks.

i am pregnant again and hoping that this pregancy will not end in a miscarriage. my pregnancy symptoms has been light but i am still hoping the morning sickness will be nicer to me. i work an 8-5 job and sometimes it takes a big toll on my work but thats when i pop in a Zofran to help me with the nausea feeling. the only thing i would like to do in the morning is to take a nap, i have been extremely tired and cant wait to get into bed every single night.

i hope i made sense in a small run. but i know a female who has lost 8 and her 9th one was a miracle. do not lose hope!! :)
