& a in July of this year, i lost my virginty, Sadly enough.
I think i remember having my period a week right after, but since i haven't had it has already been a lil over 3 months.
I'm freaking out and my mother of course didn't expect for me to lose it already.. but she has realized me not starting , and i don't want it to get to the point of her finding out..
I AM a vegetarian but i have been for over 1 yr and 3 months. ( wondering if that could be a reason )
but other than that, i don't eat very much, because i am rarely hungry and if i am, i don't have to eat much to get full.
For the past month i took some Dieting pills.. stupid i know. and i've stopped.
Help , if you can.

We, women, are supposed to have periods once a month. Most women do not know that if we do not have periods we can develop Cancer.
I have never been regular with my cycles. I started my first period when I was 11 and I am now 21. When I was 16 I was put on birth control, DepoProvara, and it messed me up bad. I did not have a period for 7 months then I started having one every 14 days. Since then I have had 6 more birth controls. In 2009 I got pregnant on OrthoTri Cyclen. I lost the baby due to complications because of my PCOS. :(
I saw someone post saying that birth control helps even out your hormones. That is true, to an extent. Most birth controls will not give you a period, which is horrible and I still have a hard time understanding why GYNs will give it to people, knowing that if we do not have periods we can get cancer. It's shocking really.
I have PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, meaning that I have cysts in my ovaries making it nearly impossibly to ovulate. With that said, that is the cause of my missed, or virtually no periods. In order to have a period you must first ovulate, just so you girls know. Perhaps some of you have this, but do not know it. You should get tested and get an ultrasound from your GYN.
This is a great site for those of us with PCOS: ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed :D
My point is: SEE YOUR GYN. Get over the fact that it will go on your Medical record, who cares? It's not like it's a Felony and will prevent you from ever doing anything again.
As long as you know that there is no possibly way for you to be pregnant, there is something seriously wrong for you to not be having a period. If you are pregnant, see a GYN.
Also, for the girl who posted about not have a period for 7-8 months after her first cycle and the GYN saying she would be worried after 9 months, FIND A NEW GYN.
Hope all of you take time to read this. :D

If all of the pregnancy tests are negative, including the doctors, then you should ask your GYN to have you tested for PCOS. Also, if you don't start before Friday then you should ask about having an ultrasound to check for blocking in your tubes. I am not saying that you have a tubal pregnancy, because if it was a tubal pregnancy then your pregnancy test results would be Positive. I'm saying this from experience because I have had a tubal pregnancy.
I'm thinking, though I am no doctor or nurse, that you probably have PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and if that's the case, then that would explain why you haven't had a period. If not, then it might be a blockage.
Were you taking any form of birth control at all? Birth controls can make your periods disappear, which is horrible.
Sometimes not having a period can be because of stress, a different diet, a different exercise plan, etc. Women's bodies are effected a lot more by everyday life rather than if you were a man. Lol
Just ask your GYN to check for PCOS (they'll know what it is) and then ask to have an ultrasound.
Keep me posted on what happens.
