I agree, I had procedure done in May 2014 and have gained 25 pounds with no change in diet. I have recently started working out and can not lose more than 2 pounds only to gain it back the next day. I have never had any problems being able to lose weight when I needed to. This is frustrating, I have a friend who is working out with me and she lost 10 pounds and inches and I have stayed the same and lost no inches. All my clothes are tight and it is mostly in my abdominal area. I am wondering if a hysterectomy would fix the problem or make it worse???

I had the Novasure Endometrial Ablation 15 months ago. It was successful and it was a huge relief. However, I have put on a huge amount of weight and look pregnant. I exercise and eat healthily but the weight keeps increasing. What causes this?

I had Novasure ablation done on Oct 15th. I weighed 185 lbs. Its now Nov 23 and I am up to 202 lbs. I have not changed my eating habits since then or my activities. I would have to say this procedure does cause weight gain but different from normal weight gain. I had gastric bypass in April of 2014. I weighed 310 lbs so I am very conscious of what I do now. So in my opinion it definitely causes weight gain!!

I too will be having bariatric surgery very soon. I had a ablation in Dec of 2014. I have gained at least 30 lbs since then. Do you think it will be worth it? after all what's the point of having a weight loss tool if I'm only gonna gain it back (possibly)? if I could do it all over again, I probably would not. (Buyers Remorse?...yea.)

I had this done in March 2016 (after losing one job and with the end of my insurance before landing another opportunity). I thought this would be great but it isn't.
I gained 25 lbs, and I never had "cheese" before and I do now. I have not bled since - but now I never know what is going on with my body. I never know what time of the month it really is. My mid section is always fat and bloated and I am badly constipated all of the time. Not only this, out of pocket my bill was over $2300 when the doc's office quoted me $400 out of pocket.
I still have monthly period issues without bleeding - from pain and cramping and mood swings. My sciatic nerve was pinched last month!
All in all, I do not recommend this procedure :(

I had my ablation in March 2016 and it is now October and I have gained about 25 pounds. As with all the others on here it is in my midsection. I just realized a few days ago that I started all the weight gain after my ablation. I am disgusted with the weight I gained and how I look. And like sum others on here said I have serious lethargy now...
