NUMBNESS IN WHOLE BODY

I don't have an answer for you.  But, you are not the only one out there with who body numbness.  It has been about a year and a half now that I have been numb from head to toe.  I do not have any tingling or burning.  I also went through a period after the numbness started that for about 3 - 4 months I had complete body weakness that started from the feet and moved up.  At the worst point of it I could not lift my leg to go up the stair's (my husband had to help), I could barely lift my hand high enough to brush my teeth.               I have seen 3 Neurologist's and 2 Neuro Surgeon's.  The only one who thought he new what was going on told me without testing he thought I had GBS (which was never diagnosed, one Neurologist told me that my symptoms weren't normal.  I hate to tell him, but my symptoms are NEVER normal for anything).  Other than that, they all wrote me off not knowing what to tell me.  (The one Neurologist did tell me I needed a shrink.  This was after he inserted a sharp needle into various parts of my body about an inch.  My mom was watching this test & later said she was surprised that I didn't flinch.  I told her why would I if I didn't feel it?)After my mom and husband have been after me this whole time to go get checked out at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  I am scheduled 2/4/2013.
