I would like to know something. I have been watching a lot of films and read a lot of books about ninjas. I have always admired them and their skills. There is something which is, for me, the most interesting. Their weapons of course. I like nunchakus the most. Is it true that it has not been the weapon from the start?

There are a lot of legends and stories about ninjas. They have existed in feudal Japanese society like highly skilled mercenaries. Nunchakus were some of theres weapon. Its origin is from China or Okinawa there are some disagrees about that. It was originally tool for threshing rice or soybeans to separate grains from the husk. But because the carrying of weapons has been forbidden many of those tools has been modified to weapons.
