I just have a question. I will be sitting at home, watching TV, talking on the phone, etc. and it will feel like my heart pounds, once, hard against my chest. It takes my breath away, and causes my face to feel numb. It has happened maybe 3 times in the past four days. I don;t know what it could be

Well if your face is going numb it may be something serious. I get Heart Flutters which I get when I drink too much caffeine or take too much sugar... it also takes my breath away and it feels like my heart opens and stays open for like 10 seconds. I really dont think its that... but you should talk to your doc about it. Just to make sure everything is ok.
